CLIMB Wyoming, a nonprofit organization that trains and places single mothers in careers that successfully support their families, is thrilled to announce that Lauren Conrad will join CLIMB Wyoming as the Teton Area Program Director.

“We are incredibly excited to have someone with Lauren’s professionalism, passion and experience with our target population in this critical role for CLIMB,” said Statewide Program Director Colleen Cherrett.

Conrad joins CLIMB Wyoming after working with Habitat for Humanity in Jackson, most recently as assistant executive director. She has also served on the board of the Latino Resource Center.

“I first became aware of the CLIMB program at Habitat for Humanity, as we worked with a few CLIMB graduates,” said Conrad. “It was inspiring to see the skills, confidence and drive these women had gained through the CLIMB program and I am honored to be part of an organization that makes a powerful impact in the lives of the single mothers and their children.”

The impact of the CLIMB program in the Teton Area has been significant, serving over 160 single mothers and 300 of their children since inception in 2004. Average monthly wages for CLIMB graduates in Teton County increased from $1,025 to $2,245.

The Teton Area CLIMB Wyoming program is currently accepting new participants for a program that will start in January. For more information please call 307-733-4088.
