Technology allowed the moms in Climb’s recent Teton Area Professional Office Careers training to connect virtually and immerse themselves in the skills to excel in a variety of professional settings. Their curriculum included robust computer training in a variety of software applications, as well as the fundamentals of business operations and what it takes to manage an office. To prepare for their new careers, Climb staff worked individually with each mom to provide support with housing resources, dental care, additional mental health services, and more. Many of the participants came to Climb feeling extremely isolated in facing the stress of poverty, and the group quickly bonded together in the shared experience of getting ready to enter the workforce with the tools for success.

“I learned so much, I’ve changed so much, I have a different perspective on life. Now I know that hope exists.”
