ABOUT CLIMB WYOMING

Climb Wyoming’s mission is to help low-income single mothers discover self- sufficiency through career training and placement. To date, the program has helped thousands of families reach self-sufficiency, the effects of which will be felt for generations to come. The basis of the Climb model is a job training and placement program, but there is more to permanent life change than getting a job. Essential elements of the Climb model include skills that ensure successful relationships on the job and in the home.

YOU ARE

  • Committed to the success of low-income single mothers through the practice of compassionate therapy
  • Experienced with group facilitation and conflict resolution within a therapeutic group setting
  • Someone who has a high level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness
  • Able to help single mothers recognize their strengths and barriers and practice new skills as they work through training and job placement
  • Able to understand and convey the connection between a person’s past experience and their current behaviors
  • Someone who has an innate curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Experienced in building meaningful relationships with other providers and resources within the community
  • Effective in working with a team and enjoy team support
  • Able to guide team members in their relationship-driven work with participants

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Master’s degree and Wyoming mental health license
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, exposure to families living in poverty is a plus
