Caring for Others Through Healthcare

Casper’s latest group came to Climb with a strong desire to make a positive difference in other people’s lives through healthcare careers. Becoming a Certified Medical Assistant offers great opportunities for higher pay and advancement into nursing and other careers. Intensive classroom training, combined with practice in clinical skills—like performing EKG tests and drawing blood—has set moms up to work in a variety of medical settings.

Building Stability for Families

Climb’s Casper team collaborated closely with Community Action Partnership and other local resources to help families access affordable housing during the program. Once placed in new jobs with higher wages, Climb graduates can continue their path toward long-term housing stability, which supports children’s educational outcomes, social and emotional health, and employment rates moving into adulthood.
