“I came into Climb carrying a lot. Fear, doubt, and a very real belief that my past would always block my future. In the past, I might have given up. But something is different now. Through Climb, I’ve learned how to keep moving forward.”

Opening the Door to Professional Careers

This training opened up a wide range of employment opportunities for moms who may not have held a professional role before, including front desk and customer service positions, scheduling, bookkeeping, inventory management, and general office management. The training included in-demand office skills such as computer software, and data entry, in addition to cybersecurity training.

“Moms in this group were eager to learn and engage! Even when the content was challenging, they were willing to reframe their mindset, focus on the task at hand, and move toward their goals.”

– Chaley Dimoff, Climb Wyoming Trainer and Adjunct Professor at LCCC

Building Stability for Families

Climb’s team in Laramie collaborated closely with Interfaith and other local resources to help participants access affordable housing during the Climb program. Once placed in new jobs with higher wages, Climb graduates can continue their path toward long-term housing stability, which supports children’s educational outcomes, social and emotional health, and employment rates moving into adulthood.
